SA Health offers a range of mental health services - including acute, rehabilitation, recovery and specialist mental health care services such as forensic and older persons mental health - in community, hospital and residential settings across Adelaide.
Mental Health services are arranged across the local health networks within metropolitan Adelaide - Central, Southern and Northern- and provides both hospital and community mental health services to each network region. Mental Health services are also provided by Country Health via the Rural and Remote Mental Health Service.
The service works in partnership with other government services, such as Drug and Alcohol Services South Australia, South Australian Police, Families SA and Housing SA, to provide co-occurring services tailored to meet the specific needs of consumers.
We are increasingly engaging with non-government organisations to provide a broader range of services to our consumers.
